About Us
Our story
My first breeding experience was with Blue Heelers in the 1980s, and it brings me heartfelt joy to return to this passion that means so much to me.

My journey with dogs began during my primary school years in Papua New Guinea, where I regularly volunteered at the Port Moresby RSPCA. Growing up, my family had a Labrador, a Corgi, and a King Charles Cavalier, each of whom played a special role in my childhood.

More recently, I spent five years living in Bali, where I devoted myself to rescuing sick stray dogs and nursing them back to health. I also organised free desexing days in villages around Ubud to support local communities.
It was in Bali that I rescued Kaya, a tiny puppy I found close to death at a construction site. Although she was blind, Kaya was the most incredible dog. She taught me resilience and gave me so much love during a time when I was fighting my own battle with cancer.

Kaya passed away a year later due to genetic issues, but I am forever grateful for the time we shared. Her memory inspires me every day.

When I returned to Australia, I knew I wanted to continue being surrounded by dogs, and that’s when I fell in love with Oodles. My breeding program, Kaya Moon, is named in honour of my Bali girl, Kaya, who left this earth on a full moon.
My fur family has my undivided attention, and I take great pride in everything I do to care for them. Your puppy will also benefit from the love and guidance of "aunty" dogs, who play and teach alongside their mothers.

Every puppy leaving Kaya Moon has had an incredible start to life. I can’t wait to help connect you with a furry friend who will bring joy and love to your family.
